This little rawhide mallet was lovingly hand-sculpted and then cast in lead-free pewter. A rawhide mallet is used to shape metal without leaving marks on it. The pin is located in the head of the mallet. The pin and clutch are both made of nickel and are silver in color. It is approx. 1 inch in length and .25 in width. Because of it's small size, it would work equally well as a tie tack, lapel pin, or just a brooch. You could also use it to decorate a purse or book bag. The pin will be shipped gift-wrapped.
